WOORA Interior was established in Tokyo in 2012 by Hana Mori, following a decade of work with leading architectural practices in Japan and Denmark. The name \u2014 drawn from the Japanese concept of ura (\u88cf), meaning the inner, hidden face of things \u2014 reflects a design philosophy rooted in depth rather than surface.\u00a0<\/p>

From the beginning, the studio has operated at the intersection of two great design traditions: the Japanese sensibility of Ma, Wabi-Sabi, and purposeful restraint; and the Scandinavian commitment to warmth, functionality, and democratic beauty.<\/p>
